The Eclectic Radio Theater | Thursdays @ 9pm
The Original Dgunboats love of music came about in the late 1950's. The influence of his parents and the music they would play on their stereo in mono.
His love of radio came in the mid 1960's when his dad came home from work after The WMCA Good Guys did an appearance at his office. He was armed with Good Guy Sweatshirts for the whole family and a promo copy of Introducing The Beatles LP when he came home.
In the 1960's Dgunboats was influenced by listening to WMCA, WABC, WNBC, WWRL, WGLI, WOR-FM, WNEW-FM, WLIR-FM & of course WCWP-FM and all their great disc jockeys. He knew he wanted to be on the air.
In the 1970s life found him working at Sam Goody where he got to hear and found interest in all genres of music. He went on to work for various record labels leading to further ear expanding of the ever-changing musical soundscape.
His experience has allowed him to dispense these sounds to you via WCWP'S Eclectic Radio Theater. The Eclectic Radio Theater shows usually are set to different themes. He often gets to interview people in the music industry as well.
